7. Midtown Tunnel
The official name is the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. It is one of NYC’s toll roads. This road runs beneath the East River. It also joins Queens (in Long Island) with Manhattan. This road runs among major cross-towns. This tunnel includes twin tubes that has a total of 4 traffic lanes.
8. Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
This is NYC’s suspension bridge. More interestingly, it is double-decked. This bridge is connecting Staten Island with Brooklyn. This bridge has a span as large as 4,260 feet. It is renowned as a gateway into New York Harbor. Cruise ships and container ships that arrive into New York’s Port or New Jersey would have to pass beneath it.
9. Staten Island Ferry
The passenger ferry that gives you the coolest, smoothest experience ever possible on NYC waterways! This ferry leaves Manhattan at South Ferry near Battery Park. On Staten Island, this ferry docks at St. George Ferry Terminal. In total, it is a 5 mile trip that will take a little more than 20 minutes.
10. The Brooklyn Bridge
The most ancient suspension bridges in US! It is almost 6000 feet long, and stands over the East River. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn (on Long Island). This is a classic thing to see in NYC.
